The Sefrou's medina is certainly one of the most interesting I have seen in Morocco. We are here in the mellah, ancient jewish area. The jewish people leaved a good remind for moroccon I spoke with in all Marocco.

Adobe houses. Vallée du Todgha

I reached this small village after some kms by feet. The sun was high and really hot...here people take care of their houses and build new ones.
The stones are used for the basement, as a way to protect the walls against the rain water flooding in the streets.

A nice place.

Old village and his palm grove, close to Tinerhir. The old adobe kasbahs are falling down, nobody cares?. People build new cement houses behind.
Probably that in 20 or 30 years this architecture will have disapeared.

Bread to bake. Marrakech

The moroccon medinas are divided in areas; for each one a hammam, a mosque and a bakery.
Women do the bread at home and bring it on a little wood board to the bakery.

Chat in the corner. Meknes

Adobe houses. Vallée des roses

Amazing to see how these houses integrate to the environment, textures, colors, shapes, just using the natural materials.
Along the oued, women roses before the sunrise, with which is made the famous rose's water.
With a recent road all vehicules can come in the valley, changing already the relations with people, not in a good way, in my sense.

Abstract. Meknes

In the medina, in which many houses are falling down, after the very rainy winter. A minaret falled down this year, killing most of the people who were praying inside the mosque.
